Bernadotte Art Awards

Prince Leka II and Elia Zaharia where in Sweden for the 30th anniversary of the Marianne & Sigvard Bernadotte Art Awards.

Prince Leka II was in Sweden for the 30th anniversary of the Marianne & Sigvard Bernadotte Art Awards.

Among the guests were Queen Noor of Jordan, Empress Farah of Iran, the Indian Prince Lakshyarai Singh Mewar and Prince Paul of Romania (Paul-Philippe Hohenzollern, grandson of the late King Carol II) and his wife Lia. The Duke of and Heir OF the throne of Portugal as well as other members of Royal families, From the Swedish RF, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Christina & Tord Magnuson. Also the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament was present with the Minister of Culture of Sweden.

During the Gala Prince Leka and his fiancé discussed about the current events in Albania and the Royal couple extended their personal invitation to Prince Carl Philip, on the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Albanian state and for the return of the remains of King Zog.

The Royal Couple also visited the Albanian Diaspora and thanked the Albanians working in Stockholm for their hard working ethos and contribution to the Swedish state as ambassadors of the Albanian people.
