Vox Baroque concert
The Royal family open the Royal villa in Durres to host the first everVox Baroque concert in Albania.
From the second to the twelfth of july, the Albanian Royal family hosted the first ever Vox Baroque concert, in King Zogs Palace in the coastal city of Durres.
This was a joint initiative by the Royal family and the ministry of culture and local authorities. Headed by the festival director Jusuf Beshiri.
A number of prominent international artists took part in the festival including: Lucia Froihofer, Roswitha Dokalik, Peter Trefflinger, Anne Marie Dragosits, Jan Čižmar, Fani Vovoni.... The festival included pieces by Johann Joseph Fux (1660-1741) and Antonio Vivaldi (1685-1759) as well as others.
The Albanian Royal family hope that by opening up the Royal Palace in Durres for cultural events, this will help the cultural life of the city.
